Hi there! My name is Julie Maida (pronounced like May-duh).
I’m a nature-loving, coffee-drinking, summer person.
I am a multi-disciplinary designer and illustrator, but my favorite medium is watercolor. My work is used for art licensing, freelance illustration, and picture books.
Thanks for stopping by my happy little corner of the world! If you are interested in working with me, please contact me directly.

AMAZING! Julie is a rare find with a combination of amazing creativity, speed and great value. I am so lucky to have found her and could not be more pleased with her work. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
- Wendy Lattimore, Snail Mail for Kids
Julie was beyond easy to work with and she managed to capture the picture I had in my mind and make
it 100 times better! Hire her ... she’s phenomenal!
- Angela Moberly, Inspired Home Building
Just amazing! She went above and beyond and was able to take my thoughts and turn it into something great! Highly recommend her to anyone looking! Thanks again for all your help!
- Tiffany Bache, Voice Artist
I was a featured artist in Stitch magazine.
I painted a 900 square foot mural in 4 days for an elementary school in Baltimore, MD.
I go the extra mile. I create thoughtful, quality work and I build great long-term partnerships.
I am both a graphic designer and an artist which means I have lots of cool crossover skills (I like to think I'm a creative ninja).
My small humans. My kids are awesome.
